The United States Department of Education approved the following as designated teacher shortage areas for school year 2010-11:

  • Special Education
  • Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS I)
  • Speech/Language Impairment
  • Regular Education
  • Bilingual Education
  • Mathematics
  • Physical Education (K-8)
  • Reading
